The camel was not discovered by the Bedouin it was first mentioned in the bible.

The expression ship of the desert is due to the fact that a camel can survive in the extreme desert
temperature for long periods of time and is able navigate through the sand dunes with ease similar
to a ship on the ocean.

“Camel tea” is the name that has been given by our visitors to our own brew which we prepare for
our guests. We prepare it using a “secret” mixture of local desert plants. It is also available for sale
at our souvenir shop.
